Discipline Guidelines for Students
General Conduct:
Maintain good manners and behavior at all times, both inside and outside the school.
Be polite, respectful to elders and teachers, and embody honesty and truthfulness.
Representation of School:
Remember that the school’s reputation is judged by your conduct.
Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness:
Stay orderly, clean in appearance and mind, and dress neatly.
Help maintain cleanliness in the school, classrooms, and campus.
Silence and Behavior:
Observe absolute silence during assemblies and while moving into or during class, even in the absence of teachers.
Avoid unruly or harmful behavior during recess.
Monitor’s Responsibility:
The class monitor is responsible for maintaining order in the absence of teachers and must fulfill this duty fairly and loyally.
Assigned Responsibilities:
Undertake any assigned duties dutifully and follow instructions given by the Principal or teachers.
Movement and Property Care:
Avoid unnecessary movement in the verandah or classrooms during class hours.
Do not deface walls or furniture; respect school property and belongings of others.
Any damage caused to school property must be compensated by the student.
Language Policy:
Speak only in English while on the school premises and maintain high standards in conversations.
Handbook:
Carry the school handbook daily, as it is the student’s responsibility.
Personal Belongings:
The school is not responsible for lost items; avoid bringing valuables to school.
Prohibited Items:
Do not bring unapproved books, comics, newspapers, transistors, or other items unrelated to studies.
Lost and Found:
Hand over any found items to the school office.
Waste Management:
Dispose of waste only in designated bins; avoid littering the school premises.
School Campus Rules:
Do not leave the campus during school hours without permission.
Latecomers and absentees require written approval from the Principal to rejoin class.
Collections and Complaints:
Do not initiate collections without the Principal’s approval.
Only individual complaints will be considered; collective petitions are not allowed.
Private Tuitions:
Taking private tuitions from school staff is strictly forbidden and may lead to dismissal.
Transportation:
Students are not allowed to use bikes for commuting to school.
